Since the late 1990s, almost all car keys have contained a small microchip called a transponder. This chip communicates with your car's computer (ECU) to allow the engine to start. If the chip isn't programmed correctly, the key will turn, but the engine won't fire.

Types of Keys We Program
Transponder Keys
Traditional metal keys with a plastic head containing a hidden chip. Common in 2000-2015 vehicles.
Remote Head Keys
Keys that have lock/unlock buttons built directly into the head of the key.
Smart Keys / Fobs
Push-to-start proximity fobs that allow you to start the car while the key is still in your pocket.
How It Works
- Call Us: Provide your vehicle's year, make, and model.
- We Come to You: Our mobile van is equipped with advanced programmers.
- Cutting: We cut the physical blade to turn the lock.
- Programming: We connect to your car's OBDII port to sync the new chip.
- Testing: We verify the key starts the car and all remote buttons work.
